Helping governments and institutions build trusted AI systems through governance, public value, and institutional excellence.
I'm Saphia Ali — a strategist and founder trained at Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard Business School Online, and as an EFQM Assessor, shaped by two decades inside government and higher education.
"My work is built on a simple belief: institutions that govern AI responsibly will be the institutions people trust. I bring two decades of experience inside government and higher education — and the strategic clarity that came from confronting institutional failure firsthand — to help organizations build that trust deliberately, not by accident."
Helping governments and organizations adopt AI responsibly — with governance frameworks, ethical guardrails, and public value at the center.
Building platforms and ventures — from Saphia AI Strategy to the National Speakers Platform to AI tools for entrepreneurs.
Advising institutions on governance practice, transparency, and performance systems that hold up under real scrutiny.
My name is Saphia Ali — known to many as AlSaghira. I've spent the majority of my career inside institutions: in government and higher education across the UAE — training that includes Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard Business School Online, and the EFQM Assessor Programme.
But my path has also included something no executive program can teach: what it feels like when an institution you've served loyally fails to see you. For years I believed that hard work and loyalty would be met with recognition. Instead, I experienced stagnation, exclusion from decisions I was qualified to shape, and governance that looked strong on paper but weak in practice.
"I turned a fight for fairness inside one institution into a mission to help build fairer institutions everywhere."
I could have let that experience diminish me. Instead, I studied it — what makes institutions actually trustworthy, and what fairness looks like when AI systems start making decisions that affect real lives. Over the past two years I've been rebuilding: I founded Saphia AI Strategy, began building the National Speakers Platform, and returned to something I already knew how to do — build things, as I once did with Bahi Elkhad Studio.
I didn't arrive here by having an easy path. I arrived here by refusing to let a hard one define me.

I believe the countries and organizations that lead the next decade will not be the ones with the most advanced models — they will be the ones with the most trustworthy institutions around those models. My ambition is to become one of the leading voices on AI governance in the Middle East, building frameworks, platforms, and institutions that prove it can be done.
A professional strategy practice focused on responsible AI adoption, institutional trust, ESG, and public value for governments and organizations navigating the AI transition. Currently building visibility under the personal brand Saphia "AlSaghira" Ali through LinkedIn, with the aim of growing it into a full electronic business.
A platform designed to discover, develop, and connect national speakers through AI, digital technology, education, and institutional partnerships. Participants can receive invitations and connect with government platforms that grant them legitimacy to appear in official and governmental forums.
Practical AI-powered assistants supporting customer communication, scheduling, reminders, and social engagement — governance-minded AI made usable for entrepreneurs and small businesses.
An earlier digital brand and platform concept for fashion — demonstrating hands-on experience building a brand, digital presence, and audience from the ground up.
An evolving body of published thinking on AI governance, institutional trust, public value, and government transformation.
A future-oriented framework reimagining printing operations as a data-driven, sustainable, and intelligent ecosystem — connecting sustainability, governance, and AI-driven decision-making so that resource use, waste reduction, and environmental impact become measurable and continuously improved, not just managed.
A proposal submitted to UAE University, among other project proposals, to transform the F3 building into a fully functioning educational mall — integrating vocational training, commercial services, and recreational facilities into a unified campus hub. Submitted in 2020; not pursued further.
Models will keep improving. What determines whether people accept them is whether the institutions deploying them can be trusted.
